The Lime Kiln Press, Santa Cruz CA, 1973? Copy number 136 of 200. Signed by William Everson (writer of the Afterword) and Allison Clough, on the colophon page. Important and scarce book by Everson, focused on a poem of Jeffers; a stern admonition to Hitler, written in 1943.

Contains an original full-page woodcut by Clough. Printed on hand-made English Tovil paper using an 1830 Acorn handpress and Weiss Roman and Italic typefaces. Prospectus laid in: on the same paper and with same typeset as the published edition. Bound in quarter black morocco leather with natural linen cloth over boards at The Schuberth Bookbindery.

Includes a tipped in plate, a reproduction of the author's holograph, showing the original manuscript of the poem. 16-1/16" x 10-9/16" x 7/16.
