"Alien", by Geoff McGann, is a coffee table book of illustrations which high-jacks the original literary work by extracting a "hidden" linear textual narrative. The extracted text is combined with page by page illustrations that bring to light the "true" persona and mind-set of Poe, bringing him back from the grave to offer wisdom to the decadence of 21st century culture. Self published by the author. Geoff McGann began his formal art training at the Rhode Island School of Design, and then on to the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, In addition to his extensive career as a commercial director/cameraman, Geoff's photography, paintings and design have been on exhibitions around the country. Currently, Geoff is showing a series of large format paintings, "Genesis".

Geoff has also just completed a book of illustrations and commentary on the Poet Edgar Allan Poe, and is currently in the shooting stages of two photography books: "Mortal" and "Distance", both due in 2019. Message me with any questions.
