The Poems of Arthur Hugh Clough. Macmillan and Co, Limited New York 1898 Beautifully bound in 3/4 leather and marbled boards, roughly 5.5" X 8.5" tall. Very good, Bright gilt titles and Art Nouveau flower pattern to spine. Five raised bands and six compartments, marbled end-papers and paste-downs, gilt top edge.

Pages lightly tanned with toning to end-papers, very little foxing, name/date to front free end-paper. No loose or missing pages. Ine example of an extraordinary antique book. Antiquarian books can be fragile and should be handled with the utmost care and attention.
