Up for sale is a copy of "The Art Of Herbert Schmalz" by Trevor Blakemore. With monographs on certain pictures by various writers and 64 illustrations. Published in 1911 by George Allen & Company, London. Overall the book is in Fair+ Condition.

The boards are scruffed, scratched, and stained. The corners are bumped and fraying and the edges are scuffed, as well.

The spine is fraying at the top and bottom. And there are a few cuts in the spine, as well.

There is a nameplate of a previous owner pasted on the front end page. The interior is good with light wear and browning to the pages. The spine is loose and the pages are split and you can see the internal webbing in a few places. A few nicks or creases on some of the edges.

The plates are generally very nice. This is a heavy book.
