Both covers lithographed in dark blue, black, green and yellow. With a woman walking and reading a book. An unsigned design by E. Borie and titled in black. Dark blue spine titled in gilt.

Top page edges gilt, others uncut. 17.5 x 11 cm. Claude Fayette Bragdon was a renowned architect, writer & stage designer. An early example of American poster style book design!
