RARE FIND, signed by the author. Lucia Clark Markham was a physician and teacher born and educated in Kentucky. She authored nine volumes of poetry and was also a prominent member of the Vancouver (British Columbia) Poetry Society. The blue decorative cover of this book shows significant signs of wear and age, including fading, rubbed edges, and some discoloration on both the front and back.

Structurally the book is solid, as hinges are intact and the binding is secure. There is an inscription by the author written in ink on the first page, but no other markings throughout the remainder of the book.

Early and final pages are lightly tanned. All text is clear and sharp.
