Printing Poetry: A Workbook in Typographic Reification. Published by Scarab Press, San Francisco, 1980. Foreword by William Everson at the Lime Kiln Press. 2,000 copies were designed and printed by Clifford Burke. Bound by the Cardoza-James Bindery Co.

A handbook discussing tools, type design, printing, binding, etc. Used to produce a finely printed book of poetry. Quarter blue cloth with spine label and printed paper-covered boards. Internal pages are clean and crisp with no markings.

Binding is solid: sharp corners, tight spine. The only problem was that the volume has tonined a couple of inches down on front and back covers (see photos)-transferred from the original dust jacket (made out of book's text paper). Appendix: the Poem on the Page [examples]. 11" x 7-1/4" x 3/4.
