Original Abstract Art Knife Painting On Canvas, Shining World. This painting is one I just finished, its one of the knife paintings which I cant stop doing and which are like a side hobby/obsession. They all represent a confusing journey (like life) with shimmering lights and canyon-like rock walls and a distant luminous place (like heaven). I cant really explain it more than that, my hope is that different people would see different things!

I titled it A Footstep Forward and I printed a stanza of an original poem I wrote on the back. And though the sky be stormy/ and though the path be strewn / with obstacles so fearsome /from Hells own maker strewn/ Ill keep my eyes trained upward / my hands Ill still and raise / Ill move a footstep forward/ till daylight lifts the haze. The painting is 18 high and 24 wide, done in acrylic paints on standard 5/8 deep canvas. You can find out more about me on my about me page.
