Hardback in the publishers original olive green gilt decorated cloth. Slight marks to the cloth, a little rubbing to the spine edges and board corners, a minor bow to the boards.

Slight abrasions to the top edge of the rear of the front free endpaper. Spotting to the frontispiece tissue guard but only a few faint marks to the frontispiece and title page. Light scattered spotting to the fore edge, the very edge of a few pages, the occasional faint spot to a page but generally bright and clean.

There is a crease to the page with the text The Winds come to me from the fields of sleep... And the verso of this page - a small vignette illustration with the same lettering (see below).
