Fine chapbook, near fine journal softcover. Description: Second chapbook by Dove following Ten Poems in 1997. 16 page chapbook comprised of twelve poems, included in The Ohio Review 28, 1982, and is printed on pages 65-80 on light gray card stock [as are all Ohio Review interior chapbooks] and is in Fine condition (unmarked, un-creased).

"Mandolin: A chapbook of poems by Rita Dove" stated on the front cover. This chapbook is expanded into the "Mandolin" opening section of Dove's 1986 Thomas and Beula which received the Pulitzer Prize in 1987. Unspecified number of copies limited to the issue printed.
