Limited signed edition of 600 copies, with Sam Francis' signature on the limitation page. The first project from Francis' Lapis Press, who would later make editions of Vija Celmins, Marina Abramovic, and Ed Ruscha to name a few.

Copy includes scarce dust wrapper. Of the 600 printed copies of Aphorisms, only a select few were signed - there are jacketless, unsigned copies available online. There are some mild touches of wear to the dust jacket, and a single faint soil mark to the top edge of the front wrapper. Otherwise, the condition is clean. The book is housed in a small protective sleeve.
