First edition thus - Limited edition, one of 1,500 numbered copies (#870) SIGNED by artist AGNES MILLER PARKER on the colophon. Gorgeously illustrated limited edition of this classic poem, issued by the venerable Limited Editions Club, with 32 full-page wood engravings by Agnes Miller Parker sketched in the very same country church-yard that inspired the poem.

Bound in the publisher's cloth covered boards, with raised silver-tinted decorations. Endpaper lightly toned, with a small bookseller's ink stamp to the front pastedown. The boards are slightly rubbed and a bit worn, with some mild sunning to the upper-edge of the boards. Please see photos for additional condition and edition clarity.
