This set is over 185 years old. This is the FIRST COLLECTED EDITION of Lord Byron's Works. The Complete Works of LORD BYRON Together With His Life by Sir Thomas Moore.

Complete in 17-volumes, as stated on the title pages. This is a gorgeous set. These bindings are over 100 years old. This set is in exceptional condition despite their age. EXCEEDINGLY WELL PRESERVED, despite being almost 200 years old. Together With His Life by Sir Thomas Moore.

Moore was a peer of Lord Byron and Percy Shelley. Moore is considered Ireland's National Bard and is to Ireland what Robert Burns is to Scotland.

This set is Over 175 YEARS OLD!! This is The FIRST COLLECTED EDITION of Lord Byron's Works. These leather bindings were incredibly expensive to produce, and are highly desirable! Ornately gilded spines with two leather labels Raised hubs on the gilded spines. Marbled edges, and end papers. Steel engraved frontisplates and title page vignettes. These measure 6 5/8 inches tall. These take up 16 3/4 inches of shelf space. Printed in 1832 - 1833. In Excellent condition, despite being over 185 years old. The leather is very supple and fresh. The hinges are all fully and strongly attached. There is general shelf wear/rubbing and abrasion, as is visible in the pictures.

This set is in far better condition than is to be expected. Some scuffing and abrasions to the top edges. Some wear and abrasion to the spine extremities, and heads of some spines. The main wear is the abrasions to the spines and the spine extremities. This set has a lot of abrasion to the spines.

This is a gorgeous and presentable set. Printed on quality paper that appears near free of foxing, after the first few pages. This is a beautiful set, and displays beautifully!
