This is a fine handmade book of selected Wallace Stephens poems with an original signed Jasper Johns print. The book is an edition of 300. Wallace Stephens has been an inspiration to many visual artists including Johns who worked with Arion press to produce this fine volume. Jasper Johns , and Wallace Stephens.

Poems by Wallace Stephens (with Aquatint signed print by Jasper Johns). Original half blue goatskin over linen boards volume with poems by Wallace Stephens and a Jasper Johns etching with aquatint on the frontispiece.

Printed on English mouldmade T. Edmons paper, introduction by Helen Vendler. 12 1/8 x 9 1/4 x 1 1/4 in. / 34 x 23.5 x 3.2 cm. #20 of 300 numbered copies from an edition of 326. The etching is signed by Johns.

Also included is an 1985 announcement from Arion press, with introducrion from Helen Vendler. The only flaw that I see is a slight smudge at the very bottom on the print page , see photos.
