Comparisons for 36 Selected Poems: Poem by Mibu no Tadami, actor Iwai Kumesaburo III as Motame. Carvers seal: Yokokawa Hori Take.

Date seal: ne-juichi (year of the rat - 1852, 11th month). There is an old label on back of frame from. I have not removed it from the frame, but it does not appear to be pasted to backing as borders appear loose.

Very good condition, general fading and discoloration commensurate with age. 20 1/2 x 15 1/2 inches , unframed: 14 3/4 x 10 1/4 inches.
