This is an illustrated Almanac of the Arts, covering painting, literature, poetry, music, architecture, plastics, theatre, film and fashion. Photos, writings, illustrations and etc throughout. Includes what appears to be a poem w/ art by Wassily Kandinsky.
This was a productive period for Kandinsky, during which he was teaching at the Bauhaus in Germany. Also includes a multi-page fold-out of sheet music to Fuge VI (1922) by Lionel Feinenger. Condition : This is a solid GOOD+ copy, especially considering it's over 90 years old. Edges somewhat worn with some minor tearing (chip to rear panel, upper edge), and internally some pages are dog eared.
One page internally has a tea/fold WITHIN the page. No loss, and folds back into page (SEE IMAGE). Spine toned, with a hint of staining. No markings, writing, staining, foxing or toning. This has held up WELL over time. Preserved in an acid-free archival bag. I will happily answer any further questions. To be up front, if and when you make an offer, I will automatically reject crazy low "give it away" offers.
Best not to waste our time. With a more reasonable offer, I will review current pricing for other comparable items out there and either accept, counter or decline submitted offer. If in that review, I find my pricing is already LOW and outdated, I may then increase the price to bring more in line with other offerings. I spend a lot of time sourcing the best offerings, preparing the listings with images and clear descriptions, and price fairly in MOST cases. I remain grateful to all who consider my offerings, and I look forward to serving your needs respectfully and with success.
I've packed books securely for 3 decades and will take great care with your order. This is not something in my control, nor do I handle that in any way. Thank you for considering this offering!
