June 1927 Volume 3, Number 8. Only 450 copies printed (this is UNnumbered). Measures approx 10.75"T x 7.75"W. I pack securely, well protected and with care. I have a very large collection of books spanning many topics. A massive gathering of Philip K Dick titles and editions, as well as fine press, signed limited editions, modern firsts, radical movement and conceptual art items. I grade this as GOOD++ condition, on the verge of VERY GOOD.

Published in 1927, this is close 100 years old. Binding is square and firm. There is light tearing to the spine end (exterior), and internally, you can se that hte covers are STARTING to pull from the signature/binding, but the pulls are NOT complete or even fragile.

I can still hold this book in hand, open and flip through pages comfortably. Internally, LIGHT toning to the page edges, a spot/stain to a couple upper page corners as well as faint staining to a couple of pages. MINOR, not exteme, no loss of text. Aside from the mentions above, NO markings. Illustrations, text print and decorations still vibrant and crisp. Overall, a nice, attractive copy of a rather scarce periodical. Preserved in an acid-free archival bag. About : This issue carries some full page illustrations by both Jo Cain as well as Aubrey Beardsley. The literary supplement carries an early translation of a work by Giovanni Boccaccio.

450 copies were printed, although this copy is NOT numbered. The editor/publisher Samuel Roth was a known booklegger, opposed to censorship and in some cases would publish work without permission, including works considered obscene and sexually explicit. Full page, black & white illustrations by Jo Cain. Literary supplement carrying a translation of Giovanni Boccaccio's Pasquerella & Madonna Babetta, with illustrations by Aubrey Beardsley.
