Antique Scottish Victorian c1880 Scraps Book Handwritten Poems Sketches Artwork

  
This is an antique Victorian book of scraps. Dates that I can see range from around 1875 - 1889. There are handwritten poems and notes, hand drawn pictures and clippings from newspapers and other places.

The sketches are very good. Quite a bit relates to Scotland so it may have Scottish family connections.

Sketches signed by Effie Bruce Taylor - Andrew Taylor - a water colour painting of a two horses ploughing - Alice A. Fullarton - WJR - 10 Autographs of Sunday School Scholars at MAYFIELD Edinburgh 1883 - newspaper clippings - sepia photograph Capel Curig & Snowdon - a sepia photo portrait of an Old Scotchman supposed to have been " out " at Drumclog & Bothwell Brig - A. In Granton Harbour - a small sketch of a person on tree swing and its signed something Nathaniel Milne or Muriel Milne? There are loose later newspaper cuttings as well. With 49 pages of items and it has as many EMPTY pages too. In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. The spine and outer corners of the book are damaged. Some of the clippings and drawings are loose. The original artwork makes up for the tatty appearance of the book. Please see pictures for more details. 9 and 1/2 inches x 8 inches.
