Large Original Hand Painted & Written Poem - Rudyard Kipling's'IF' Circa 1910 - 1920. Large Original Hand Written & Painted Picture, featuring Rudyard Kipling's Poem'IF' First published in 1910. Given the age of the frame and style, its likely this was created by Margaret Sargent, shortly after its publication, little is known of Margaret Sargent, its likely she was a school child and this was produced as piece of calligraphy for a school prize - common during the period. Some yellowing of the parchment, and some bumps and loss of detail to the frame, as per the clear pictures, it displays very well and is a great antique original piece. Bottle of wine pictured, is NOT included, just shown to give you an idea of scale.
