Rare ANTIQUE 19th C FISHER & TURNER Illustrated HAND-COLORED 7 Woodcut PRINTS. New York and Philadelphia: Turner & Fisher, 1840s. Undated but widely listed as ca. A good to very good early copy of this book this early American children's book with short poems and stories and hand colored illustrations.

It has Softcover Wraps, about 6.75" tall and 5.25" wide, 16 pages (8 leaves) printed on one side and a wonderful hand-colored woodcut woodblock engraving? Print on every other page plus soft covers.

There are 7 (Seven) full page hand colored illustrations plus hand colored front cover and title page. Covers are soiled, age stained, worn and rubbed, spotting/foxing on covers and pages, pages age-toned with a some finger soil/soiling to the margins, some foxing,, pencilling, markings writings on interior of covers- names or markings. Good Early Children's Books - hard to find in any condition.

We could most likely sell the woodblock prints or woodcuts individually for more than the list price of the intact book. We would feel bad about disassembling the book after it survived all of this time together. For an early antique children's book it is in good to very good early aged condition.
