5.75 x 7.5 inches. A scarce copy, in very good condition, of the pamphlet edition of Bob Kaufman's. Which first appeared serially in the poetry magazine. A single 35-inch long sheet of white stock, folded to make six panels, printed on both sides.
Ten contain Kaufman's poetry, and two panels wrap around as covers. He was, together with Allen Ginsburg, John Kelly, A.
Winans, and William Margolis, a founder of the poetry magazine. Kaufman was a poet in the oral tradition, he often did not write down his poetry, and he sometimes said he wanted to be forgotten. That his poetry has been preserved in print form is largely due to the efforts of his wife Eileen Singe. Published by City Lights Books in San Francisco. Printed at the Troubador Press, San Francisco.More photos available upon request. #panoplybooks #rarebooks #bookboutique #collectiblebooks #antiquebooks #vintagebooks #bookstore.
