19th Century Oil Painting Lovers Reading Poems by Waterfall with Dog. 19th century oil painting on canvas depicting a pair of lovers from an earlier time period reading a book of poetry sitting in a beautiful natural setting amongst trees beside a waterfall. A pet dog sits nearby. Nicely framed with custom made arched stretcher and gilt wood frame. Measures 46in x 33.5in x 3in depth. Condition: overall very faint craquelure noticeable under scrutiny, tiny lentil sized dull spot on left edge as pictured, otherwise excellent vintage condition.
