Corbould, Edited by Mary Russell Mitford, Black and Armstrong, London, 1841, 69 pp, full leather, boldly stamped in gilt, 15 x 11, large quarto, 4to. Discoloration, spotting and fading to edges of leather boards. Light wear to extremities with more moderate scuffing to corners and end bands. Gilt finishing bright and clean.

Small patch of worming to bottom left corner of front pastedown. End papers clean, hinge beginning, light instances of finger soiling. Yates, 1841 on second fly leaf in old hand. American ownership from the family of Jasper Yates. Interior lightly toned with scattered foxing.

All tissue guards intact, albeit foxed. Perhaps the greatest Victorian gift book!
