A bright copy of this work. This book weighs 1 KG when packed. Front board is detached but present. Parallel Latin and English texts, with parallel pagination sequences. Collated, complete, with the half title'The art of poetry: an epistle'. Translated by George Colman, the Elder. Colman was an English dramatist, and essayist. In addition to this he was a theatre owner. His notes are to the rear of this work. In a full leather binding.

Otherwise, rubbing to the extremities and spine. Small loss to the head and tail of spine. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones.

Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will.
