The painting is painted on what looks to be thick paper with the words to the motto poem on strips glued to the backing paper (see photos). The painting is painted on canvas. The artwork is framed in a painted wood picture frame (see photos).

The picture frame has some scuffs, scratches, wood losses, finish losses and obvious signs of wear (see photos). The painting has some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). The artwork in total framed measures about 1 foot 1 inch high and it is about 1 foot 8 and 1/2 inches wide. The artwork portion without the frame measures about 10 inches high and 1 foot 5 and 1/2 inches wide.
